She was so thrilled yesterday to get this card in the mail. It was the first piece of mail she had ever received. Our church sends the kids a card on their birthday. It was a cute card and had some stickers inside, what fun.
We made a cake this morning in between doing school work. We are not a big on cakes, but we were having some friends over to help us celebrate, so I felt the need to make one. Most of the family prefers pie or some other dessert.
When it came time for Hannah to blow out the candles, she had a very difficult time. It was pretty funny and we finally had to help her out.
A New Barbie
Dan and his pal Johanna. You can see just how little Dan is as he and Johanna are the same age.
After dinner we let Hannah open a few more presents. This was a princess set, complete with crown, shoes and a pretty dress. It was a big hit.
We are having another gathering on Sunday afternoon with extended family. Hannah will be so happy to have more birthday celebration to come.
