We didn't do anything too special...no parties, no people in, but we did have a nice day.
We got quite a bit of snow overnight, so the kids had a lot of fun playing outside. Brian picked up some steaks and we pulled the grill out and had those with oven fried sweet potatoes. Bessie also made dinner rolls, which is always a hit with this bread loving family. This was the first time we made the oven potatoes and we all liked them very much. We had ice cream for dessert.
The Littles went to bed at their regular time. We debated about letting them stay up, but they are not very good about sleeping in and they aren't quite to the point of appreciating this type of activity.
It worked out well, as Brian, Bessie, Gabe and I had a very enjoyable evening. We played games, popped popcorn, watched an old Sinbad movie and then watched the ball drop in Times Square. We switched the TV over to a local news station and watched the fireworks from Saratoga Springs. This was the first time Gabe stayed up to ring in the new year and he thought is quite exciting.

LOL! We came home to a party at our house... I'll post about it as soon as I catch up on SLEEP!
Did you take the fireworks photo? Cool.
