The kids are usually pretty good when we are out and about running errands, especially if I bribe them with a trip to one of the big pet stores after we are done. This trip involved a stop at Lowe's, Joanne Fabrics, Home Depot and the grocery store.

Speaking of pet stores...do you remember when you used to be able to go to a pet store and see REAL animals????? Hold the puppies and pet the kitties and bunnies and such. I've been so disappointed that all the stores we go to now have reptiles, turtles, and rats.....nothing cute and cuddly to play with. I suppose there are animal rights reasons - but it was THE FAVORITE field trip of our older 3 - to go to the pet store in Great Falls, MT or Billings, MT....
Had to laugh, we too often save the pet shop for last as a bit of a bribe! Of course we pretty much always need something there and have to stop.
BTW De'Etta, if you see this RATS are cute and cuddley. snort.
