Free Wheeling!

Dan will turn five years old next week. He is a wee little boy, only weighing it at 32 lbs, but his small size rarely slows him down. He is all boy, very strong and coordinated and quite determined in whatever he attempts.

Brian took the training wheels off Dan's bike yesterday and that was all he needed to venture into more "big boy" territory. Brian gave him a few lessons yesterday and with just a bit of help today, Dan started riding his two-wheeler just like the big kids. He was so pleased with himself and we all cheered, clapped and hollered over his accomplishment.

Way to go Dan!

Dan!! Great job!! That takes a LOT of determination to be riding a 2 wheeler! What a big boy you are!

We just took our 4 yo's training wheels off, too! He'll be 5 in June and he has 2 goals for this summer - learning to ride his bike and learning to swim (LOL).

Dan is very determined. He learned to swim last summer and was a very quick study on the bike. I just wish his maturity level would catch up to his physical level!

Congratulations Dan!!!!!!

Hoping to take Tristan's training wheels off this summer. they are loose so I left them that way and he still seems to be balancing somewhat.
