Christmas Visit at Mom and Dad's

We headed over to Mom and Dad's later in the afternoon. This year it was decided to meet there a bit later than in years past and I loved the slower pace of our morning, as we didn't need to rush off.

We had a nice gathering this year with Mom and Dad, our crew, Glenn, Theresa and their children, Dave, Sandi and their girls and this year, Walt was home.

We had a nice buffet meal and then opened gifts. The younger group headed outside for some play time in the snow.

It was a very nice afternoon and evening and the most pleasant way to spend the end of our Christmas.

Everyone took their turn signing the tablecloth.

Abbie and Dan

Emily and Hannah

Julia, Bessie and Mariah

Here is the whole group...all 20 of us. Mom and Dad's living room seems so much smaller these days.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too!

You know - I COULD pull out a tablecloth and start the Christmas cloth this year....I just cringe at having to stitch it all....we are a year behind on Thanskgiving now..... I am thinking more and more that fabric paint or ink might be the way to go. LOL

Great photos! I agree on how houses became a LOT smaller (at least perception-wise) the older we get & the more children we have. :-)
