Hope you enjoy my entry for this week. Go to The Simple Woman to read more.
For Today...December 15, 2008
Outside My Window...The little birds are busy at the feeders. They flit back and forth between the feeders and the trees. It is funny to watch them today as it is quite windy and the have to work against the wind.
I am thinking...About shopping on Wednesday and hopefully getting most of our Christmas gifts purchased.
I am thankful for...An old hulk of a house that feels so secure when the storms come and the wind blows. It had weathered over 160 years of stormy weather.
From the learning rooms...Not much official schooling today. A few Christmas craft projects.
From the kitchen...Just finished lunch.
I am wearing...Black pants and a black and gray striped shirt.
I am creating...Bessie and I are doing embroidery on our Christmas table cloth.
I am going...Blissfully no were today. Gabe's dentist and Dan's speech were canceled.
I am reading...More quilt books from the library.
I am hoping...To get most of our Christmas shopping done on Wednesday.
I am hearing...Bessie humming in the kitchen as she works on the table cloth and the fantastic four playing in the front room.
Around the house...Happy voices today. I love days like this, when everyone is getting along.
One of my favorite things...Dreaming of craft projects I would like to make.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Shopping and continuing with our Christmas celebrations. We still need to get our tree.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing..

You always make me smile! Gabe is so handsome! Love his hunter's orange :)
Nice picture, Debbie. Again, I enjoyed the glimpse into your day.
This is a fantastic photo of Gabe.
I've been wondering what kind of birds are visiting your feeder now that you have snow on the ground. :)
We've had a few, but I think after the ice that's expected tonight there will be many more.
Gabe is growing into such a handsome young man! He's losing that little boy look!
