Legos

Gabe finally decided that the other kids could play with his Legos. He has a few toys that he has kept for himself as the Littles aren't always good to toys. They have been thrilled to share this virtual treasure trove of colored blocks.

Gabe likes to build war machines, siege engines and all sorts of aircraft and space vehicles.

Hannah is by far the best builder of the Littles. She is patient and meticulous when she works. Dan just likes to play with the men and their armaments. Rachel makes very lovely scenes with the trees and horses.

It is quite the variety of creations they come up with.

Wow! That looks like a fantastic collection of Legos. Do any of them wish to follow instructions and make something specific?? Always interesting to see how the children ar so different. :)

We have quite the lego builders here as well... only our young ones build construction machinery (LOL).

Kathy, yes, Brian and Gabe will build things from instructions, although Brian is incredibly good had making things without any instructions.

Most of the legos came from Castle sets that I had gotten for Brian way before we had kids!

Great job, Gabe - how wonderful to share your nice collection of Legos.

Debbie, I love the sheet idea...now if I can only remember to pull a sheet out....

De'Etta, I don't have to remember the sheet...it stays under the Legos. When the kids are done, I pick up the sheet by the corners and it and the Legos go in the plastic bin. It makes for a very, quick cleanup.

It's fascinating to watch how different children will play with the same toys, isn't it?

Good job Gabe! Sharing can be very hard. It seems like a really big step to me.

Isn't it interesting to see the children's personalities come through even with something like Lego building preferences? Trevor and Gabe would have a blast building together!

Lego's sure are fun. Very nice of Gabe to share.

Most of ours are shared but Trevor keeps a small box full of pieces that he doesn't want to share since our not so little anymore- littles still lose some of the tiny special pieces.
