When I started this book, it only took me a few pages before I found myself thinking...this is a very, very light read and that I probably wouldn't read another one in the series.

Well, I kept reading and while it is very light reading, I also found it quite entertaining. It is definitely not a mind bender by any means, but I got quite caught up in the lives of the characters in the story....Lady Rose, the Heiress, Daisy, her maid, Captain Harry Cathcart, the private detective and Becket his man servant. Throw in a murder in high society and it was a fun book.

They left the relationship between Rose and Harry hanging, so I'll have to read the next book to find out how they resolve it.
